LG15 is an entertainment franchise and social network where you can participate in an evolving fictional universe by watching the shows and contributing your own stories. It started with lonelygirl15, a purportedly real video blogger on YouTube who entertained millions and became a media sensation in the summer of 2006. lonelygirl15 went on to become the most successful serial drama online, winning numerous awards and accumulating over 150 million views and counting. In the fall of 2007, lonelygirl15 crossed the Atlantic spawning the UK's hit online drama, KateModern. To date, the LG15 universe includes lonelygirl15, OpAPHID, KateModern, n1ckola, LG15: The Resistance, The Last, and numerous series produced by fans just like you.
Sign up and join the universe! (don’t worry, it’s easy and free).Experience the shows by watching videos, viewing photos, and reading blogs posted by the characters. Dive deeper into the stories on the characters' profile pages by writing on their boards, sending them messages, and interacting with them just like you would on a social network like Facebook or MySpace.
Participate in the shows by solving the mysteries and puzzles incorporated into the narrative. These might be as simple as giving your advice to a character about a difficult decision they need to make, or as complex as cracking the code to an encrypted file on a flash drive.
In addition to solving puzzles, you can create your own stories in the LG15 universe. Fans just like you have created hundreds of unofficial stories within the LG15 universe. It's a great way to meet other talented creators and hone your skills. We also run an annual competition called “The Show is Yours,” and the winning show becomes part of the official LG15 canon. “The Last” was the winner of the first TSIY, and you could be next!
LG15 is more than just an entertainment franchise, it's also a community. Edit your profile page, upload photos and videos, write blogs, and make new friends. Get involved on the site by participating in the forum or hanging out in the chat room. You can talk with other users about producing shows or anything that piques your interest. Finally, you can get a behind-the-scenes look into the LG15 universe on the Inside LG15 blog.
