Kinda new just surfing youtube and found this is this like a real show? or something

a lot of what you should know about lg15 can be found in the lgpedia and about areas of the site.

fair warning about the lgpedia: it's written with an all-knowing point of view. this means it assumes you've seen everything already, and is therefore spoiler-heavy. even then i found it a useful resource when i first started (which was during outbreak).

Melanie Merkosky (who played Jennie in the original series) also played Harper's Globe's main character, Robin. As Harper's Globe was tied into Harper's Island, Robin eventually had a small cameo in HI as well (though it was just a moment or so in what I think was an early episode, or at least earlyish; i'd get more specific, but harpersglobe.com is acting hinky at the moment...).

Jackson Davis (who played Jonas) popped up in CSI Season 10 episode The Panty Sniffer along side Matt Barr (who played Sully on Harper's Island).

I think Jessica Lee Rose (aka the all-mighty lonelygirl15, herself, Bree) has done the most actual work of the 3 main characters fo lg15 season one. I think she was on Greek for like eight episodes.

I suppose I aughta check out what else Yousef Abu-Taleb (Daniel) has done…but I'm not up for it at the millisecond. I know he's done some videos with Carmen Electra spoofing lg15…promoting Epic Movie, I think.
