blackmagic, imo, a ransom video would be one of the most retarded things ever. totally killed realism of the original series for me.

I think it lacks some "realism" that there hasn't been any attempt to ransom her. Video, letter, or blood markings on the wall. There should be something. Mason believes that it is because of him, but there's nothing to give credit to that. I find that most unbelievable.

How do we know if a ransom video would be realistic or not if we don't know why she was kidnapped.  If she was kidnapped because she they need her for something, you would not expect to see a ransom video.  If they kidnapped her to get something from Mason or Will, you would expect to see a ransom video (or note). 

I find it more unrealistic that Mason apparently blew up the Eiffle Tower and has felt no consequences.
