Thank you for replying. I certainly do not want to give the impression that all young people do not like to read. Students who enjoy reading and examining literature are the reason why I enjoy my work so much.
Good for you on the AP English score. That is quite an accomplishment. Ken Kesey's novel is a rather sophisticated work, that certainly reflects the period in which it was written, in addition to exploring some disturbing and troubling views of the world. I find it difficult to share with young people who might not be of a certain maturity level. Impressive...I'm sorry to gush on and on...I love literature. _________________ I hope you realize that I suck.::The finest satire is that in which ridicule is combined with so little malice and so much conviction that it even rouses laughter in those who are hit.-Georg Christoph Lichtenberg |

As do I! I plan on possibly majoring in English Lit! I am currently reading 100 Years Of Solitude, and I am in LOVE with it. I admit that it has some mature themes, but I feel that you can't really find any books that really challenge something in the social order without being mature in one way or another.
I personally love examining novels from the perspective of the way the gender's are portrayed. That is the reason I love Kesey's novel! _________________ My plays: Random Incoherence

HSA has a new video--->The Importance of Gratitude
Now that Daniel's gone, perhaps Bree will rethink her approach to thankfulness and kindness. Within this video, there are some prime examples of gratitude from those you know and love... _________________ I hope you realize that I suck.::The finest satire is that in which ridicule is combined with so little malice and so much conviction that it even rouses laughter in those who are hit.-Georg Christoph Lichtenberg |
