I've heard that a fan named Thor after Thor Knai. Who is this fan?

(I'm not sure if I get this section of the forum. Is it ok to start a tread asking a tiny question like this?)

Sami, it is completely acceptable to start a topic about any question you need help with. Occasionally in the Community Forum, if a lot of topics are similar, I eventually consolidate them into one. However, this forum is usually the first place people come and I don't believe you should worry about that!!

I always thought that Bree named all of her stuffed animals: Thor, Owen and P*Monkey.

I was surprised to see this:

I'm not totally clear on this, but I believe it was discussed in a chat about LG15, and someone suggested it. Then HyeMew (the dauntless dean that he is) suggested it to Bree. I believe HyeMew didn't take credit for the idea, but I can't recall whose idea he said it was. I'm sure he can shed some light on this!

That was during the period of time when we were still uncovering all the real life facts about LG15. At one point we unearthed Thor Knai's audition video (through the MySpace connection), and had a lot of fun with that.

I am a bit hazy on this one, but I remember us having a chat conversation where either Milo or Hyemew suggested to call the bear Thor. And yes, it made several people smile when it was mentioned directly in one video.

That must have been kinda embaressing for Jess the actress to do, I suppose, then again, it was all in good fun, and Thor later popped up thanking people for the free PR.

I take partial credit for this happening, though I didn't come up with the name myself (wish I had!)
I was writing an entry for the Danielbeast myspace blog, in which I decided to focus on the poor neglected bear laying on the ground in a recent episode (in September). I decided to write from his point of view and make a storyline where he was rivaling P. Monkey for Bree's attention. I was formulating it while talking with fellow Anchor Covers in our chat room and asking for ideas when a member drquest suggested I name it Thor- after Jess's friend whose infamous "caning" incident became the biggest thing since Charles Sumner's in 1852. Of course it was a great suggestion, I wrote it into my story, and also messaged the Creators as a suggestion. I totally didn't expect them to write back, but they did and said sure thing! I was shocked and then when I heard his name mentioned in the kissing episode I went insane.

Thor Knai's real name is Torbjørn. 'Bjørn' is the norwegian word for bear.
So.. Thor Bear... Smile
