I removed them. The reason the links remain is because we have a no censorship policy here. People can post links to whatever they feel is relevant material as long as they include a disclaimer as to what the content of the link is. We had to deal with the same issue after CiW’s second video. This policy is in accordance with the wishes of the Admin of this site.
The only reason there are separate forums for CiW is because of its popularity and because people wanted a place to talk about it. The forums will disappear as soon as the demand for them disappears. _________________ "I thoroughly disapprove of duels. I consider them unwise and I know they are dangerous. Also, sinful. Anything??? I think the Admin should draw a line somewhere. Also, I can't possibly see how this is relevant at all... |

This is in no way relevant, I agree with you. This was pure gamejacking. CiW transported us in the universe of Second Life where we thought we would find a clue....never happened. A lot of people gathered at the chuch and of course it attracted a lot of weirdos too who have nothing to do with CiW. The SL universe is really really weird and somehow out of control (I've been spanked last night in SL by a woman in a leather suit! ). I can tell you it was really annoying to see that giant penis floating around. Obviously, people do what they want in SL, but it was not necessary to post snapshots of that in the forum.
As for CiW, I think is has a place on this board. CiW is clearly related to LG15 as a fanfic spin-off around a character that was created in the series, namely Cassie. The Creators encourage fanfics. So CiW has to stay as long as necessary, imho.
It's not up to the admin to draw a line about what happens elsewhere but to the people on this forum. Then it's up to the mods to clean up the mess when the line of decency is crossed. And it's also up to us to send a message to the mods when we think something is wrong. If we want to keep this forum a friendly place, a little effort is asked from everyone. And I agree porn has to be kept out of here!
(Now...... if you wanna know a place where you can get spanked in SL, I can tell you...oups, sorry!) |

Grow up, guys. Seriously. If you don't like the CiW forums and their content, you don't need to go into them. |

If everyone sees a penis before they see a gun in life, the world will be a happier place.
Guns were made by man for killing, but penises were made by god for love. |

This is something I totally agree with and a philosophy I defend in life. However, that's only my personal views. A floating erected penis right in your face can be seen as, if not offensive, disturbing for some people. The forum is supposed to be PG. The day guns will be rated R and naked bodies PG, I will be more than happy, but this day has not come yet. As much as we can dream about changing society, we still have to adapt to the rules that apply in the world we live in. It's called democracy. The original poster of this thread was offended, as would be the overwhelming majority of americans, let's respect that. No? |

@stainofmind - You are more than welcome to examine penis all day long, however I don't see how it is appropriate to do so on this board.
It is neither relevant or sensible to post that content here. IMHO even links to that content. If the Admin decides this is the land of "anything goes" then there should be some sufficient age checking in place. |

I don't understand how you go from 'the rules that apply to the world we live in' to 'the overwhelming majority of americans' as if the ethics of the american society would automatically apply to that of the rest of the world, too? .
FYI, I'm not american. Actually, i'm from the Netherlands, a country which lies in europe . So excuse me if I have a hard time adapting to the overwhelming majority of americans, and I'm not even sure I want to |

Well, to be honest, the whole cassie thing is something that would give anyone below 13 bad nightmares, so why not place age checking in place just for that? |
