This has been bugging me for a bit and it may be nothing, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyhow...
When I first saw this description, my first thought was: "Hannah Schneider." Hannah Schneider is a character in the novel Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl and many of the themes in the book are related to OA themes: veracity, who to trust, the group vs. the individual, missing persons, a secretive organization, etc. In the novel, Hannah Schneider is killed (or may have committed suicide) and it is up to the protagonist, Blue van Meer, to figure out what happened to her based on the clues left behind. She also uses many literary texts to allude to potential deeper mysteries within the narrative.
I don't know if this has any significance, but since OA is so well read I wouldn't discount it altogether.

Bit of info about STiCP:

Some people have suggested that it could refer to the biblical Hannah.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannah_%28Bible%29

"In her prayer [Hannah] begs for a child in return for giving the child up, putting him in the service of the Shiloh priests, and raising him as a nazirite."

It could refer to Bree's parents giving up Bree to serve the Order.

Then again, I don't know if the palindromes have any meaning. (As we've seen, not all of the messages have deep hidden meanings.) They could be a hint to listen to the backwards audio in the videos, or something like that.

Did Hannah say as Hannah did? is a palindrome. Palindromes are sentences that are the same whether you spell them forwards or backwards.

There is speculation that the puzzle for H involves palindromes.
