Well panda...your more knowledgable then I am at this...
So what do you think. Doesn't seem to be any actually puzzles or anything to solve with this drop. Just seems to be a pick up and notify OpAphid, and by the discription of the video, notify Daniel.
What do you think?

The only out of place thing is all the John Hughes references.
80's Movie references are Tachy's thing. So I'm not really sure what we're supposed to defer from that.

My memory might be failing here, but:
- Didn't somebody mention some time ago that it was odd for somebody like Daniel to have a fake ID?
- And didn't Daniel mention he was contacted by Tachyon, when Gemma's cover was blown?
It's improbable, but maybe Tachy created the ID for him, for the express purpose to make fleeing the order easier? Would explain both why he has one and why it's done in Tachy's style...

Maybe the only point of this is to move the story along - we tell Daniel and they make their next move - bringing the LG15 and OpA elements closer together.
One (very tenuous) link I've found. Tubular bells (the Exorcist music) is used in Weird Science and in thre reverse audio on one of the films (Tachyon or CIW - I can't remember).

Allow me to beat the dead horse and say Lad should've followed his gut on the logbook and left it there.
Also, uh, why just take the logbook if it was actually inside of the tub in a plastic bag? Why not just take the whole frickin' thing entirely? Maybe Op put something inside of one of the trinkets, or there's a map inside of one of the toys.

KTS, I think the Creators and the PMs are pulling story lines from the forums. As soon as the video went up where Daniel said he'd lost his ID...somebody said something along the lines of, "You know Op will do something with the ID now...she has this thing for Daniel."
I think they're on to something there.  |

And it would be Jeff White if it was to be shown on a licence/ID...so thats interesting.

A sample driver's license from the State of Illinois' website:
Someone mentioned that the driver's license number should start with a "D"? Is that because the last name starts with a D? And if so, perhaps this example is why it is a P instead of a D.
Or not.
In comparison, this has the same ** *** *** under restrictions, the same COR (corrective, probably) under type...
I suppose, even, that a comparison of a fake ID with an official fake ID might even be considered absolutely useless and off topic. But I figured I'd include it in case anyone has any ideas... I was thinking that differences between the two might be useful.

First off, bless you for bringing the thread back ontopic.
While our connection was crap, I am almost certain that the way I spelt it on the post is the way it was spelt on the ID.

I always find it funny when people think the LG15 people are getting plot ideas from the forums when the mention of the fake ID alone shows it was being planned from before the hangover video was shot. I'm sure they at least shoot those a week in advance, with the ARG who knows?
Perhaps there shall be more crossover in the future?
I want Op to be Bree's mom still making her a hot evil MILF! |

I've never had a fake ID made before, but does the purchaser really have that much control over what goes on it, outside of the picture? I don't know whether DB picked all that information, or what.
Also, is there a chance it could just be the creators continuing to try to be cute and throw back to really good movies of the past? Meta happens, and all. |
