I don't think the number of words are important this time... I think the biggest hint as to how the poem flows is 4 iambs, which have been consistent with the first two lines. The poem is written in iambic quadrameter (yes?) |

| think we have to pay attention to the number of words in the coded anagram...it might be a bad move to disregard it just because something fits more nicely. |

Yes, it does. The S contributes nothing. Or else it's "meets me just inside the gate". |
