The statements ARE Egyptian. They are the Egyptian comandments/declarations of innocence.
At death a soul would have 42 judges and the soul would turn to each, call out their name and declare a particular innocence
In vid oder we have declarations 21, 38, 14, 28, and 39.
I have not judged hastily, nor have I judged harshly
I have not acted guilefully nor have I acted in insolence
I have accused no man falsely, nor have I supported any false accusation
I have not taken God's name in vain
I have not been overly proud, nor have I behaved myself with arrogance
Edit: removed earlier Judeo-Christian speculation after googling up the wiki variant of the declarations

we each might have to work on this!
maybe part of proving yourself worthy is not telling if you find it?
that would suck!

It was me. I promised secrecy, though.
You're painfully close now... |

damnit!!! this is a way of weeding out those who are good at this, and those of us that are crap but want to play none the less. most of us will be left out nafter this morning, if we can't find it for ourselves.
or at least thats how it looks. |

really. take a minute or two to look up a few posts above. then use some basic net skills. it is simple and quite satisfying!
GAME ON! |

I've sent a message to OpAphid asking if we're supposed to keep the info to ourselves.
I'll let you know what she says.
Information is usually not bogarted like that in an ARG. It's not a competition. The only way most of the puzzles get solved is thorugh the Hivemind of the community.
I'll get back as soon as I can. _________________ "Death, in the strict sense, cannot be defined, for whatever predicate we, the living, attribute to it necessarily belongs to Life. This means that Death, as a category, behaves in a manner indistinguishable from the Infinite, and from God." |
