Just dorky. The Creators have a habit of hitting us over the head with character development (when it does occur) - if he were gay, it would have been way more over the top.

Haha, I agree. I remember that Jonas was subject to like three months worth of "is he gay?" speculation - almost as much as the "is he with the order?" speculation.
