and i would like to add
on the version shown in the video
the clock hands DO NOT point to 11 and 3
they point to in between 1 and 2 and 8 |

That's the million dollar question. That's the file Tach gave them (it's on the Revver description too, by the way).

Was there a version of the book shown in the video? I didn't see it (in any clearly identifiable way, at least).
But in any event, I still think it's too similar to not be related. Especially since the original cover of the first book would qualify as where it all began (with Nancy Drew). |

the books are easily distinguish from older versions by the yellow spines
and good point about the clock |

True. And Tachyon did give Daniel younger covers for two of the others we've gotten to see.
I guess even though we haven't gotten to see the fourth or fifth books Tach gave him, if one is The Secret of the Old Clock (which it should be considering the hint she provided), it's going to be a later cover (maybe why they aren't showing it).

I'm reaaaally stretching here, but some thoughts:
In the latest video "Men are from Mars" Bree keeps mentioning that her and Jonas went hiking. I don't know why it bugged me, besides the fact that I wouldn't consider playing in the snow and scouting to be "hiking".
I also went to check the 6th video in the LG series, because of the off number in the Haiku - the last line with 6 syllables. Here's what I found in the LGPedia:
My Parents Suck... is the sixth video in the Lonelygirl15 video series. Bree complains her parents won't let her go hiking with Daniel.
Transcript
Bree: I'm really upset right now. Daniel and I were supposed to go hiking today. We've been planning it for like two weeks. I wasn't allowed to go to his graduation party. I said that I would do something really nice to make up for it. So I planned this trip that we would go hiking up to the reservoir and that's where we can go and swim and I made egg salad sandwiches. Daniel got here at 7 and then my parents said that we couldn't go. I think that I'm a pretty decent person. I understand that we have some beliefs and that means that I can't do the same things as other kids all the time. Anyways so Daniel is really mad right now. And I don't know if he'll be allowed to come over anymore. So...
Notes
* This is the first time Bree mentions anything about her religion.
* On YouTube it cuts off halfway through the word "sandwiches."
* Some people consider suck to be a bad word.
* This was the first video to become a major hit with over 500,000 views.
Notice the theme of hiking, daniel being angry, and the FIRSTS. Could be where it all began. The ideas of hiking and daniel being mad could have been hints to look back at these episodes.
Like I said, a real stretch. |

I do think that we must limit ourselves to what information Daniel has or can obtain... and hiding in a cabin in the mountains in the snow, he's not likely to obtain random covers of older or foreign editions, of which there are many.

So that's why Jonas mentioned egg salad sandwiches right before he and Bree went "hiking." He apologized for only having peanut butter and jelly, not egg salad, can't remember the exact quote. Good work! |
