That stood out to me as well.
And I still find it odd that Bree's apparently changed her story on how her friendship with Cassie ended. |

Bree said before that Cassie didn't like her religion and stopped coming around after awhile. This phone story adds another layer to that, but it doesn't contradict it.
Maybe Cassie didn't like Bree's religion after Bree's mom put a healthy does of fear into her the next time she came over?
Ooh... now I am seeing those OpAphid videos in a new light. If they got involved, Cassie would be pretty freaked out by Bree's religion!  |

well everyone's assuming that the point of the prank phone call story was to point out that she was a pranker? i think the point was more to give us a clue with the whispering thing. it could go either way, i really don't care. but i think the possibility that itscassie is going to become canon isn't so ridiculous.
