Yousef Abu-Taleb won't be part of LG15 anymore. Do you agree with this decision? |

Huh? They've got a background in advertising, they created a huge Internet property, they run their own fansite, got huge media coverage ... and they're running out of money?
All this time, they've never even put ads on their website, sold any merchandise or DVDs. And they've only started thinking about it now? That's pathetic. I presumed it was because they had financial backing from industry. But it turns out to be sheer negligence.
The cast should be going on strike, not committing to work for free. They deserve better. |

Negligence or ignorance? Remember, these guys aren't exactly in the 'industry'... They tried to give us all this for free and when trying to come up with T-Shirt designs got flamed for it, etc. Go easy on these guys, people, unless you can do better or something. |

People here are being ungrateful. Anyone else would have charged to watch these videos a long time ago, and people are complaining about getting ripped off with a t shirt contest. Many people expect so much from the cast/crew and complain about the tiniest detail yet they aren't willing to give anything in return.
Wasn't this supposed to be a project we could all work on? That includes helping them fund the project, not just giving them feedback about each video or making one yourself.
And it's quite admirable to work for free for such a project, it's not stupid. Both Jessica and Yousef and maybe even Jackie are well aware of how this series has helped further their careers, so working for free when they are low on budget is the least they could do. |

(Sorry for the "I told you so". Well, kind of. I'm just glad the series is going on, in general.) |
So you are a plant!!!! j/k[/quote]
A FERN. A very nice FERN.
And I've been yakking with Yousef via myspace since yesterday, so I suppose that does make me kind of a plant, but an independent one.

Hey guys, sorry that post was a little confusing. I am not a "PR" person. I just kind of speak from the heart. Anyway, it's pretty simple what happened. There has been a lot of tension on the set for a whole lot of reasons and we got into a fight about some stuff. Overall it was a really horrible day and I felt like crap. I am not leaving the show and I am not being fired, Daniel will continue on. Also, the show is DEFINITELY not ending, we really want to do this thing "forever." Yeah, money is tight, but I'm sure we will figure it out, we always have through this entire thing. I love all you guys, the fans are what make it worthwhile for me! Thanks, talk to you all later.

Ah. Makes sense. Glad to hear things have been worked out. If Yousef left (and it wasn't because that's the way the story was supposed to go), the series would go rapidly downhill.
Thanks for posting this, Inigo.

You say tomahto, I say tomayto. We're not going to agree on this one; I'd rather trust Yousef and continue to enjoy the series. |

I suspect that there was probably some discussion about canceling Yousef's contract, but I'm inclined to believe it had more to do with finances than anything else. _________________ It's STILL all connected... |

Some people think this Jonas character, still not officialy canon, is meant as a replacement for Daniel, who may be leaving for good.
any thoughts on this? |
