edit: oh another thing, i thought this was supposed to be entertainment not True Life: Bree and the TRUE religion of Thelema...did anyone think to notice that this could all be made up to be fiction??? |

Well, of course...it's hard to argue about something unless you have some background or knowledge to start from....not that it keeps people from trying...just that it's hard.

True...and I personally have stated that. But, the creators picked a real minority religion...they didn't make one up out of the blue...they plastered our religion's name right on the homepage.... so yeah....it pertains to our religion even though there is a fictional order of denderah.
It's different with something like Christianity. Everyone has been exposed to Christianity...they've had adherents to Christianity as friends, relatives, etc. So, if someone bashes christianity, you really don't need christians pouring in and defending it. People know what Christianity is about already. They've been well-exposed.
However, with something like Thelema...someone has to speak up. Most people have no exposure to Thelema. If someone in a forum is writing that we worship satan and eat babies, you'll have people believing that to be the truth...because they read it. |

| maybe they thought that Christians have been talked about enough that it was time to talk about someone else...also did you think that if they would have used a religion that people knew about it would be as interesting or as fun to research about? so you are the minority...we know but that doesn't mean you are off limits |
