Bree is, by FAR, the most socially backward chick I've ever seen. Blame Mom & Dad for that one. I wouldn't want (trust) her as a friend.
Jonas & Bree, bro & sis.. I can't go that way. It would be a twist, yes. But it's been twisted before and it's been twisted by better.

It's only a word. And last I remembered there was something called free speech, or the right to have your own opinions and voice?
It's just a word. Words never hurt anyone, only the context that people 'assume' them to mean. I do understand that the word can be rather degrading, but I don't think lynn really meant it in that sense. Context.
Yes, she could have used another word, which she ultimately did since she had been beseeched to do so.
I'm just saying, where does it end? What's the next word that will irk someone into requesting that it not be used? |

I find it to be offensive because I have a child with a mental handicap. There are also others with children with mental and physical handicaps who have left the forum because of the use of the word. I'm not angry, or trying to be a big jerk, i just know that many people find it offensive. |
