I once saw a commercial for the Tyra Banks Show, and it was about ppl who have really weird fears, and one of them was deathly afraid of styrofoam. (sp?) She started crying when they opened a big box of those packing peanut things and they spilled out toward her.LMAO

I saw a show like that but it was the Maury show. They had people who were afraid of fish because most fish don't blink. They also had someone who was afraid of birds. I felt bad for her because you can't go anywhere without seeing a bird.

Aww...

That's a weird one! I went through a wax museum this summer and that freaked me out. I was waiting for one of them to actually move. The torture area was the worst! I kept picturing Vincent Price's movie.

Oooh, I don't know about that. I've been to Salem, and they have all kinds of wax displays and robots..but they never really bothered me. I guess it's because the wax ones didn't look real, and the robots were behind glass, many feet away from me.

But if it was like The House of Wax (that IS the name, right?)...yeah, no. I'd prolly break down and cry. Very Happy

mannn that movie is gore-awesome. i <3 the way everyone dies in it.

man.. am i ever morbid?

no... not me.. *shifty eyes*

I've wanted to see that movie for a while now!

I'm morbid too don't worry. I like scary/gory movies where no one survives Laughing

I can't fall asleep with the closet door open. And I hate porcelin dolls ever since I saw the movie Dolls. They all came to life and killed the people. I stopped collecting them then and put them all into storage.

I bet no one would ever guess that that's one of my favorite movies ever. You know what else is awesome, speaking of robots and dolls, the scene in Barbarella where the little weird dolls with metal teeth come after her. They make the most glorious noise when their little mouths are snapping shut!

I have this weird fear, but its hard to describe, so if you get confused, I'll understand. I'm afraid of things underwater. Like, not water itself, but things like the support beams of docks or boats. Huh..I guess that wasn't so hard to explain. Anyway, I freak out and I don't like being near it at all..and sometimes I can't look at it and stuff. I'm also afraid of sleeping with my closet door open, and with any part of my body, besides my arms and head, uncovered while in bed. I'm also terrified of spiders, but thats not really that weird. When I was a kid, I used to freak out if my neck wasn't covered when I sleep because I thought vampires were going to come into my room at night and suck my blood. Shocked

I am kind of afraid of moose...see when I was little I had this dream that I stayed at this hotel which was run by an old lady....and there was this HUGE pen with three or four giant (we're talking 7 or 8 stories tall) moose. We got to ride on their heads, and it was fun. Then when everyone went to bed, I couldn't sleep so I came out to the lobby where there was this viewing window to see the moose, and then the little old lady got smashed against the window by one of the moose...no joke...I actually dreamed that...

Then, I had this other dream when I lived in England...we had one of those boucy horses...you know the ones attached to the thing by the four springs...well anywho...I was on it, and these guys in masks were cutting the tops of the head of my sister, mother, and father. I was just sitting there and then one of bad guys turns to me and says "if you don't shut up, kid, you'll be next!" but the thing is...I didn't say anything...

suffice to say, I have freaky-ass dreams...

Your mentioning big moose reminded me of that fact that I get freaked out by huge statues and buildings. I'm not sure why, I just get freaked out. For example, theres a church near here with a big Jesus on it. Like, a 2 story Jesus..and hes looking down at the side walk with his arms open like hes waiting for a hug...but he freaks me out. And it kind of makes me sad that I get freaked out by the giant Jesus, but its true. If he were little, I wouldn't get freaked out, but hes huge, so I am. The next time I'm near that church, I'll try to take a picture, so y'all can see the giant Jesus.

I am sorry....a giant jesus makes me laugh uncontrollably and given the fact that I have a bad cough, that leads to me coughing uncontrollably, so I was literally just rolling on the floor laugh-coughing!

If I weren't so freaked out by it, I'd probably be doing the same thing..including the coughing, because I too have a bad cough. The first time I saw it, after my fear, I was like "wtf?!" and I started laughing.
