who the actress is who plays Jules?

They still haven't told us. It's the longest we've been without knowing who plays a new character, most likely because they don't want us to know. I don't blame them, after all the flaming and bashing the poor girl got...

The character Julia is played by my sister, Shannon Solomon. I am posting this now because I would like you to understand the context in which these videos were filmed, how they were filmed, and why.

A few months ago, I visited Shannon for the weekend at her home in Texas. Looking to bond with my little sister, I decided to make a few videos with her. We spent a Saturday afternoon laughing, making wardrobe changes, and spontaneously making the videos you have seen Julia post.

Shannon is not an actress and there were no scripts. We were two sisters having a laugh and being creative together. These were intended to be silly fan videos that would fade away into the Youtube landscape. We never intended to have them viewed in such a widespread manner.

Then, as Miles recently mentioned, we had a casting problem and an actress fell through at the last moment (just a few hours before filming). We all thought the videos Shannon had made were cute and decided to post hers instead. Shannon is a huge fan of the series and was thrilled to make her own contribution.

Shannon is 14 years-old and is in the 8th grade. She is a cheer leader, plays softball and volleyball, and I am very proud of her.

Hey Amanda thanks for the info! Shannon plays the part well and I hope all that flaming her videos have recieved doesn't get her down, but makes her try harder.

Awesome. I hope she does stay in it.

She may not be an actress, but with some classes, she most definitely could be. In the LG15 videos, she plays her part well.

As probably one of the most critical of the LG phans, I went out of my way to NOT criticize this young lady as some of the more rabid phorons have.

It was obvious to me that she was indeed an amateur and that she was inexperienced in front of the camera.

I would like to apologize to her on behalf of the idiots out there who were so harsh to such a young girl. As a parent, I know how it would make me feel to have such things posted about a child or close relative.

Jess et al are professionals and are fair game Wink

, so don't get any ideas I'm turning into some kind of softy.

Does this mean DBJ somehow made their way out to Texas 4realz (extremely unlikely), or that Shannon was flown to LA for this cameo?

Thanks for that revelation, Amanda. Like curiousGoerge I'd like to extend my apology on behalf of all those who were harsh towards Shannon, and, like Inigo, I really hope none of that got her down. She seems sweet to me and I've liked her since pretty much the beginning. I hope we see her again.

Personally, I apologize to you, Shannon, for criticizing your acting. I assumed that you were a professional actress--I never would have guessed that you were just an average kid about my age!

Personally, I'm very impressed with how your acting has improved in such a short amount of time--and I'd say that regardless of whether or not I knew your identity. Smile

Congratulations on becoming canon, and I wish you luck as the show continues. Smile
