Just happened to me one minute ago:

Little Brother (13): Are you looking for a girlfriend?
Me: Are you a dwarf? ²
Brother: No...
Me: If you say so...
Brother: Then why were you on a site called "lonelygirl15" yesterday??
Me: That just proves you have no idea...-_-
Brother: It's probably some swinger-site!

Then he checked Google or something and called over "is this some YouTube kid that's famous now??".

hahaha, when i got an autograph from jackson davis in the mail, my bf had gotten our mail when i was out of town, he called me and said, you got a letter from this jackson davis guy or whatever...i was rotflmfao....lol, i had explained, well attempted to, about the lg15 series...he later told me, oh i thought it might of been of of your lg15 friends! Laughing

Haha, when I get my Jackson autograph this is what happened with me and my mom:

Me: Hey look what I got today
Mom: Who is that?
Me: He's an actor on that thing I watch.
Mom: That weird religion show?
Me: Uh... yeeeeeah.
Mom: How did you get that?
Me: I asked him.
Mom: But how did you ask him if he's an actor?
Me: Myspace.
Mom:Oooh. Well, next time you talk to him, tell him I think he's pretty cute.

Heh...I've been there. I was trying to explain to a friend that I administer the forums for lonelygirl15. It sounded pretty good to me, but by the time it came out of my mouth (and he had no idea what it was), I realized how odd that sounds!

I got somebody to forward a request for a pic to Yousef. It took a few weeks, but the autographed pic eventually arrived in the mail. It's a small, not-very-clear B&W shot, and Yousef signed, "Thanks for watching!"

I put it up on our refrigerator, and it took my GF several weeks to notice it. She just saw it last night, squinted at it, and said only, "Huh. Looks like he's trying to grow a beard." (She didn't bother asking who it was -- she undoubtedly figured that it was related to LG15. Whenever something happens in my life that she hasn't heard about, she just asks, "Lonelygirl15?" Usually the answer is "Yep." And she just rolls her eyes and changes the subject.)
