Us Americans know this book as "The Golden Compass." There was a publishing error and the book was mistitled when it was released in the USA.

But Nicole Kidman is playing Mrs. Coulter. 
I don't mind NK (even though I don't think she can act), but she's not who I pictured to play this particular character.
AND WTF!!!! Daniel Craig is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too young to play Lord Asriel. That's just wrong. Plus...he's like James Bond.
