This is mostly to round up all the pending leads we have. I can think of the following:

Is Serapis relevant? If so, what does it mean?

Is ex22 relevant? If so, is it Exodus 2:2 or Exodus 22 or someting else? And what does it mean?

Is aabb relevant? Is it the code to the poem's rythym?

What are we .-- .- .. -ing for?

Will something happen the first of October?

Is Cassie Cassandra?

Who is Moses?

And the big daddy of them all, what does the poem mean?

Feel free to add your own.

I think ex22 must be relevant since the former name aabb was a clue to the code for the poem's rythm, before most of us thought it was a shakespearian sonnet with "abab" rhymes.
The Ex2:2 verse seems to me more related to the poem (and the plot) than Ex22.

I've seen different answers to the other questions and many look plausible, so i won't stick to any of them.
I'd prefer Cassandra to Cassiopeia, but this is just how i would like it to be, not really an opinion.

Did anyone ever determine the reason Cassie chose Ezekiel 35:5?

I don't recall that detail, either. Care to let us in on the secret, Mr. Grace?

You did make me think of this, though:

Ezekiel 25:17

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

The first bit of Ezekiel 35:5 was torn out and attached with a dab a wax to the page from Numbers that Cassie left at the playground.

It's been analyzed before, I think its meaning is kind of obvious, but maybe there's more to it...

Quote:
35:5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

35:6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

35:7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.

35:8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

35:9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Cassie just used this part:

Quote:
Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children

Cassie does everything with a purpose, at least everything that I've noticed, and we probably watch her closer than she watches us. Laughing Anyhow, the page torn from Numbers was to provide us with the telephone number.

So, what was the purpose of the extra verse she attached?

Remember what Kelrast said...

The Book of Numbers is one of the books of the Old Testament that is attributed to Moses.

The page from Numbers led us to the voicemail, which was then hijacked (possibly in game). That hijacking was followed by Cassie saying that everybody hates her.

We have been late before.

We must now work together.

At dawn on October 1, she will reveal clues, which we must hurry to interpret and collect.

What happens when you take the Numbers page with all of the holes cut out of it and put it over the page with Ezekiel 35:5? Wasn't there a bunch of extra stuff cut out on top of the numbers?

I seem to remember someone saying that the Bible was a Gideon bible, so that exact printing should be fairly common.
