Anyone else think it to be slightly interesting, that their Mom decided to cut her hair and lighten it to blonde?

Agreed, it seems to weird she decides to go lighter.
I wonder if Taylor's Mom is going on a Business trip tonight to CA?

Hmmm...I wonder. Maybe Taylor will come out and join them. Go looking for their mom, if she goes missing or something.

Hmmm....that's a possibility. As is everything in the Breeniverse!

Midlife crisis. Or perhaps she's dating again... testing the waters, so to speak. Dad could have found out, left a tactless voicemail message. 'Twould explain why their Ma was so upset "for like two days." *shrugs*

This is always a possibility...but it seems that everything in the Breeniverse is connected.
I just think it is weird the timing of Mom's breakdown. Does Mom watch the videos? Does Mom know emoSarah is with boys chasing down a cultish type of society trying to rescue a friend?

I doubt the mom thing has any more signifigance than just character building for the sisters. What I really want to know is, was anyone else disturbed my Sarah's mistreatment of P. Monkey?

I think there is relevance of the way their whole family acts!

I mean, unless this is what is "normal" to others. Is this a normal family?

Looks pretty normal to me. I've been raised in a single parent household, in a household in the wake of divorce and seperation (more than once) and I've watched my closest friend (of 17 years) and her sisters going through it too. Taylor has an out. She can put her energy into doing things like soccer and hacking. She's dealing with it the way I did. Focus on other things. Sarah seems like kind of a loner, and she's daddy's girl. She's handling it the way my friend did. And mom's dealing with the loss of two family members at the moment. When my mother's upset she changes things. She shops. She rearranges furniture. She buys clothing she'd never buy in a balanced state of mind.

So....normal then? Cuz, I'm not joking when I say I have no idea.

And like I said, it looks normal to me, from the standpoint of seeing a broken home after a recent seperation. I can't speak to what's difinitively normal to everyone else.

Looks common to me too (at this point, it's hard to call families "normal"; especially with all the broken homes and divorces). I've seen this same kind of behavior, and wouldn't expect anything different. One kid's going to probably try occupying theirself the way Taylor has while the other's going to sulk, and the spouse that was abandoned is going to go through random periods of depression in which they do random things (often involving wasting money).

As for the phone call, I doubt it was anything more significant than "No, I'm not coming back" or "I'm interested in someone new."

That it does. Seek solace in possessions and cosmetics when depressed. That's the only place true happiness can be found!

Yep, we're trained.
