I wish I watched that show. But my brothers were always around.
Well, I did see one part. These two girls were almost naked and kissing infront of these two guys. Uhheehhh... girl on girl just doesn't do it for me. And half the cast was not hot so... I take back what I said. |

OK, interesting contradiction what with the spooky footage and music leading up to the Bree-Jonas make-out session, but this, too, felt a bit cheesy. Still, I'm glad it finally happened, so I didn't have to continue to wonder "will they or won't they, and if so, when?".

Coming from someone who has been at parties where girls have been raped (even friends of mine) and then seen what happens the next day, THIS IS NOT OKAY AT ALL AND IS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN LIGHTLY.
Granted they are just making out, but you know what that can lead to. If this story arc goes in that direction, I'll be pretty miffed. As it stands now, not all is lost. Jonas can still make a vid explaining that what he was doing was wrong and the moment he realized that, he backed off.
Even so, I'm sure as soon as Bree recovers she's going to be pretty pissed at Jonas. |
I think they did the deed.
If Jonas felt in his heart that she was "recovered" then I'm not sure I see the prob. One thing is that he and Beast are good friends and he knows damn well Daniel has feelings for her. That is reason enough not to go through with it.

Is that thankless and selfish or is that a problem that his parents passed down to him that he fell into when he was overwhelmed in pressure? Far different then being Bree. I never said he was a saint I just said he's never acted as selfish and thankless as bree has. Same with Jonas. He had every reason to be a little self involved and go looking for his parents but Bree kept forcing them to do her thing with little or no respect for what Jonas was going through. Jonas's gun was him being scared and trying to protect himself adn losing his cool.
Bree isn't having moments of weakness. Her selfish rude behavior is consistent unlike moments of weakness - drinking - for Daniel, and hot temper for Jonas (counting the gun and when he went up to punch the watcher). Both were understandable and both explained their behavior and apologized for it. Has bree ever acknowledged how selfish she is and how she takes advantage?
Once again, what I'm saying is plain and simple - neither have been like Bree. She has no consideration for the feelings and sacrifices of others. |

To the contrary, Jonas and Bree have been showing themselves to be attracted to each other since before they left Jonas' house. Daniel and he even got into an altercation to that effect. In Texas, Sarah even pointed out how all over each other they were.
I believe Jonas saw their liaison as a natural extension of an attraction he has felt since he first met her. (How many men do you know who aren't gay, aren't your boyfriend, and aren't chefs that would bake you cookies?)

The videos have shown her going in and out of lucidity. It hasn't been an all child-like state. We had several days of Bree and Jonas together where we didn't have a close-up view of her reactions. We don't know how much she had improved in that time period. Could it have been enough to dupe a love-sick Jonas? I don't know. None of us do at this point. I choose to believe that there was enough improvement that Jonas really believed he'd broken through the programming.

Friends of yours were being raped at a party you were attending and you did nothing!? And you're dissing Jonas for kissing someone who was willingly kissing back?? Don't you think that's just a tad hypocritical?

The idea that they were "just making out" is not supported by the evidence in my opinion. "Morning After" is well past the stage of making out. I know when a man, half nude, is in my bed first thing in the morning with a satisfied grin on his face, he didn't stop with heavy petting!
