I second that. Now that we know he wasn't trying to take advantage of her, and that he really, truly believed the old Bree was showing through, we should all cut him some slack. His intentions were honourable, yet he was screwed over. The poor guy's heart must be breaking...

i dont fully believe that. he seemed to be having to much fun in the fact that Daniel was upset about it.

Fun? Nothing about that was malicious, if that's what you're arguing. The giddiness in his voice was post-sex glee, plain and simple. The girl of his dreams finally reciprocated, and you expect him to feel morally culpable as he lays in her bed, the morning after?
Nah. He was blinded by his feelings, yes, and because of that, he was screwed over. Figuratively and literally. I really doubt that he knew what was coming. Which makes his situation all the more painful.

As much as I want to cut you some slack, Jonas, I can't. This time was too big of a screw-up to just sweep under the carpet. Had Bree not just been brainwashed by a cult, there would be no problem. But here's the thing: She knew what you guys wanted her to believe. She knew exactly how to act to make you think everything was all good.
I've been led astray by my emotions before. I know how it feels. I know you probably feel like shit right now. But sometimes, you just have to accept feeling like shit and try to learn from it. This would be one of those times. |

and (if they bumped uglies) wouldn't it seem a bit... strange? i mean wouldn't you suspect something if the girl of your dreams was positively throwing herself at you, right after the first kiss? we know bree is no slut, so those actions would have been totally out of character.
