Could we have movie refs here?? In particular John Travolta?
Charlie's into bikes, calls himself the hog king - Wild Hogs with John Travolta.
John Travolta is 53, as is Charlie.
Elizabeth was hiding out at Tom Cruise's 'shrine' - Cruise is a well known follower of scientology, as is John Travolta.
It all came to me as I was brushing my teeth!!

Hi Looby. Thanks for the compliment. I've read your suggestion and I'm not sure that it fits right now. I think that he calls himself the HogKing because of the motorcycle group they are in. I think that its the name of their club. I believe the reference to Tom Cruise was to let us know that she is near a church of Scientolgy (there is one in Halifax and one in Vancouver).
From what I'm getting out of the story line right now, the men in the motorcycle club were approached by a sponser and jumped on the opportunity to have some money behind them. I don't feel that they originally knew all that their "secret" sponser would ask them to do. Monica (charlie's daughter and Elizabeth's friend) was asked to do something and agreed. I believe we now know that she was sacrificed for some sort of ceremony or perhaps murdered for knowing too much. Elizabeth saw this death and somehow the sponsers found out. They didn't want the truth behind them to come out and have taken action. Their website has been taken over, presumably by one of the sponsers. Edward (Elizabeth's father) is being held at another members house (Victor) and Charlie has been ousted as the leader of the motorcycle club. I think that we are currently working to find their treasure (some sort of paperwork, I'm guessing evidence as to what they are really up to) and not only save Elizabeth, but Charlie and Edward as well at this point.
This is just my thoughts on the whole thing. If someone else has another theory that isn't quite as confusing, please jot it down so we can start organizing our thoughts into one cohesive plan of action. |
