Is causing fan conflict!
I don't usually post, but I try my best to read everything i think might help me through the breeniverse. Lately all of the forums have been filled with "Sarah's better, no Jonas is better!" wah wah wah bulls**t. It's boring and is making everyone frustrated.
I know that conflict is necessary in ANY fiction, but in something as interactive as this it would be nice to have a bad guy. The problem here is that EVERYONE is justified to some degree so no one is wrong. This makes it impossible to have a satisfying ending to this part of the storyline and, as far as I can tell so far, it's just going to escalate into more whining and cat fighting among fans (who are being just as immature as they say the characters are).
Please, PLEASE, for the love of God and BDJ... give us someone we can all blame! Tell us something about this situation that we don't know that will help us to band back together and serve our purpose... to help the characters as a third-party. |

Most of the arguing is done incharacter. Don't worry, this is not something that should come down to personal attacks. If it does, reevaluate your friendship with this person... because they are obviously a bit looney if they are confusing human relationships with those of fictional characters.
I personally love this conflict, that is why I choose the "dark" side whenever I make an incharacter post. Why not? Conflict is fun when it is done at a none personal level. So long as it is mutually understood that this is all fun and games, then everything shall work out dandily. _________________ <DTayl> actually i'm the bad sister

Danielle and I argue incharacter all the time, especially at slumber parties, and always over who gets to kiss the jonas poster first _________________ Im sorry; you must have mistaken me for someone else. My name is Anastasia Beaverhousen.

I guess what I mean is that it's also happening on the comment board and stuff... I think that, yes, it's great to have some conflict on the in-character forums because it lets everyone choose characters of their own and turns out to be really fun! But, the difference between you choosing to post as HoO (which is usually ver funny, by the way, you're pretty clever) and people arguing about two characters that, at this point, are both on the same side, is that the rift in the friendship isn't as clear a boundary between good and bad. When this is resolved, half of us are going to be left completely unsatisfied and the other half will feel like they've been vindicated. It just doesn't make sense plot wise to leave the conflict so open ended. In fiction, at some point, you need to make a clear distinction between who's right and who's wrong (unless the point is to NOT make the distinction- if this is the case the message about the argument's ambiguity is being lost because it's such a petty thing). Does that make sense? I'm mostly concerned because I can't see this ending in a way that really solve anything... |

I'm a little confused by the purpose you are seeking. I promise you, at some point there will be a resolution to the character conflict... but in a story, there must always be conflict.
As stressful as it is, it is the rising action that makes big conclusion and wrap videos as amazing as they are... because we hunger for them! _________________ <DTayl> actually i'm the bad sister
