Aw No Winky this time!
(that must sound really odd to someone who doesn't follow this story!)
Now we have to figure out the coded message.
There is that odd alphabet type thing at the end, and a clue is the Marlett font which is a font converting letters to symbols.
http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~MarlettFont~WIN_COM_API
But they don't match up. That would be too easy right?
So I am still looking.
I tried a bacon thing with the large vs small font, it didn't get me anywhere. I think Marlett is the clue...
I think crybaby blues may be the music
I don't know about the Alice, Riley, & Rose tags.. _________________ "Children analyze fantasy. They know you're kidding them. There's got to be logic in the way you kid them. Their fun is pretending...making believe they believe it." Dr Seuss |

Crybaby Blues is the music

Looks like a pigpen/masonic cipher variant to me.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigpen_cipher
http://www.simonsingh.com/The_Black_Chamber/pigpenWithMenu.html
http://altreligion.about.com/library/glossary/symbols/bldefsmcipher.htm
The table in the video has all different symbols, except the last one is repeated. I thought it could be an alphabet table and not a message. Remember the bacon alphabet table had 24 AB patterns (with i=j and u=v).
Notice that the square symbol with the two red symbols on top would correspond with the letters i and j, and if you look at that Marlett Font link you'll see that the symbols for i and j are indeed those marked in red inside that square.
Now if you look at the next 2 symbols, it seems he's also put the letters k and l in the middle square of the tic-tac-toe grid, and this allows him to get the V-like symbol to stand for the letters u and v, which is graphically coherent. However, this messes up the idea of the pigpen a bit, because the tic-tac-toe grid and the big X provide 13 chambers, using two letters in each chamber and placing a dot inside to distinguish between them gives you a 26 letter alphabet. Since he's sticking with the old baconian 24-letter alphabet, the last few symbols seem confusing since he's got 4 more letters to place in the last three chambers.
Here's an attempt to sketch Gone's cipher:
Code: | AB| CD |EF \ U V /
--+----+-- \ /
GH|IJKL|MN W × X
--+----+-- / \
OP| QR |ST / Y Z? \
|
Now I'm thinking that last symbol may be a mistake, as it may need a dot inside to distinguish z from y. And the symbol for the letter w doesn't require a dot. Anyways, let's keep our eyes open for a message using those symbols.

the pigpen fits except for symbol 9 with that red symbol (which looks like marlett) in it and symbol 11 which has 2 dots in it.
if I assign pigpen to the symbols we get all of the alphabet except T, W, Y, & Z.
and we have two V's

Check my edit for how I think Mr.Gone applied the pigpen idea.

Winky does make a cameo. Check out the reflection in Bell's eye at the very end.
I found some pretty interesting stuff regarding Alice Riley:
http://www.sonic.net/~msnyder/femvio/fem/riley.htm
Alice Riley
First woman hanged in Georgia; allowed to deliver child before
being hanged for murder of William Wise (claimed innocence)
Irish indentured servant.
Alice Riley and Richard White were lovers. The Irish servants were
allotted to a fellow Irish landowner, William Wise.
Wise, described by historians as "an Irishman of shady character" was
so intolerable that the Georgia Trustees wanted to send him back to
Ireland before his ship even got to Savannah. But Wise made
Hutchinson Island his home. Until he was "incapacitated" soon
afterward. Records at the Georgia Historical Society don't explain
Wise's occupation or how he became disabled. Trustees allowed Wise to
take on two servants -- Riley and White.
"Wise had long hair and enjoyed having White comb it, often reclining
in bed and leaning his head over the rail for the operation," the
Historical Society's records recall. "One morning in combing Wise's
hair, White gave the handkerchief around his victim's neck a twist to
choke him, when at the same time the Riley girl brought in a bucket of
water for bathing his face and suddenly plunged his head down into the
water and drowned him, already half-choked."
White and Riley were tried and, although they declared their
innocence, were sentenced to hang. But because Riley was pregnant with
White's child, the hanging was delayed until the baby was born. On
Jan. 19, 1735, Riley was hanged in Savannah. The next day, officials
hanged White on the same scaffold.

excellent analysis Deagol.
yes , two upside down v's.
why on earth would he do this?
the bacon thing was working just fine. And it could be applied in so many ways. _________________ "Children analyze fantasy. They know you're kidding them. There's got to be logic in the way you kid them. Their fun is pretending...making believe they believe it." Dr Seuss |

very !
makes me wonder what happened to their child?
If Bell is going to be hung like Alice, could Bell be pregnant? (doubtful, she certainly doesn't look it)
there was some reference to this story in a past video, I'll have to go check... _________________ "Children analyze fantasy. They know you're kidding them. There's got to be logic in the way you kid them. Their fun is pretending...making believe they believe it." Dr Seuss |

Gone also is pointing out two parts of the tree of life
http://s194.photobucket.com/albums/z140/MonsieurAlle/?action=view¤t=Treeoflife0.gif
#5 Gevurah:Judgment, Might, Power
Description
This Sefirah represents the fearsome powers of divine punishment and wrath in the world.
This power is needed to maintain control over the universe.
However the destructive forces necessary to keep order and exact punishment also contain the seeds of demonic Evil: the "Other Side" (Sitra Ahra).
and #3 HOD
Hod represents the lower channel through which God's judgment comes down to the world.
It is also associated with the power of prophecy.
Netzach and hod are referred to in the Zohar as "the scales of justice." Netzach merits while hod concedes ("acknowledges" or "confesses"). As the two hips of the body they are responsible for the general state of equilibrium of the body. _________________ "Children analyze fantasy. They know you're kidding them. Notice the path between the sephiroths is marked with a XII and the upside down triangle which is the elemental sign for water. There's a hebrew letter also that I can't make out.
According to this chart http://www.meta-religion.com/Mathematics/Images/TarotTree.gif
That particular path corresponds to the Hanged Man tarot card. _________________ "We're all in this alone." |
