Ehemmmm....for someone who only spent 2 days in England, you sure did get a lot of footage.
Okay now everyone else...solve these puzzles!

Great video!
Kris is banned from the Ho0 server.
Here is what I got code wise:
34556 - Kris' hand in red ink.
Letters and numbers on door bell:
EC-6 3-GC
EB-5 4-BD
- - - - 5-EB
Order of numbers 3 4 5 5 6.
The code at the end is crazy!
Now I am back to working on the codes.

The code at the end...
I tried converting it using Wingdings 3. I don't know if it worked:
vc sbgjm srx csgqvpz
tb rdb sspf vslxcir iv
rgm [hpkm[r togrpkfbpw;
gccuixp iggw[pvrsy
gjbkgwnp vr wfysmihy
x?x tnwpclh vmfmuhngcg
p[xyoym fjrpewey
The ? in the above text means
That and the [ make me think this is wrong.
Maybe the revver version will show my errors. |

It looks like, on my computer, that your [s were a's and your ? was a U.
simple shift anyone? _________________ my love tastes a lot like tofu.

Confirming marla's work except for one letter:
Quote: | vc sbgjm sru csgqvpz

gjbkgwnp vr wfysmihy

It's not a simple shift. It's likely another vigenere, so we need that key (maybe from the 34556 code/letters). I'm looking at the frequencies right now.
Oh about those numbers in the intercom, sting, I think it should be like this:
Code: |
EC-6 4-GC
EB-5 3-BD
---- 5-EB
|
You had 3 and 4 exchanged. |

For the door buttons, I tried treating them as equations (addition) and solving for each letter. The results were indeterminate:
try
3 = B + D
4 = G + C
5 = E + B
6 = E + C
E + B + 1 = E + C
B + 1 = C
B + D + 2 = E + B
D + 2 = E
G + C + 2 = E + C
G + 2 = E
D = G
B + D + 3 = E + C
B + D + 3 = E + B + 1
D + 2 = E
four possible solutions:
try D = G = 0, B = 3, C = 4, E = 2
try D = G = 1, B = 2, C = 3, E = 3
try D = G = 2, B = 1, C = 2, E = 4
try D = G = 3, B = 0, C = 1, E = 5 |

Treating as a substitution code...
Here is some info on letter frequencies in the code:
vc sbgjm sru csgqvpz
tb rdb sspf vslxcir iv
rgm ahpkmar togrpkfbpw;
gccuixp iggwapvrsy
gjbkgwnp vr wfysmihy
xux tnwpclh vmfmuhngcg
paxyoym fjrpewey
letter counts:
a....
b.....
c.......
d.
e..
f.....
g...........
h....
i.....
j...
k...
l..
m.......
n...
o..
p...........
q.
r.........
s........
t...
u....
v.......
w......
x.....
y......
z.
;.
------------------------------------
actual order:
gp r s cmv wy bfix ahu jknt elo dqz
approx expected order:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_analysis_%28cryptanalysis%29
ETAOIN SHRDLU
-----------------------------------
note also the double letters in the code (important if is a substitution cypher:
ss, cc, gg
(word 'sspf' ... not many words begin with a double letter
... OOPS? BREE or TREE backwards?)
also helpful are the two letter words:
vc, tb, iv, vr
(v is probably O as in OF ON OR OX DO GO NO SO TO ?)
xux (weird because the 'u' is fairly uncommon in the code, making O, A, I unlikely) |

hmm maybe i got a little excited....
If you use this key for the cipher it
to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence;
supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting
you get this, i dont know if that first word is just coincidence or what?
co ntact ser aetabli
lo rsq uevo usserez ad
est ination prenezbons;
oindell ejesperequ
evosyeux ne vouscaus
ent pasdetq ruxubhaeyk
hhqkufh xdkwwjyf
the spacing and punctuation are a match as well, as in the last puzzle. what am i missing? |

hmmmm, attempts to treat as a substitution code are not working out ... observing that all the letters of the alphabet are represented at least once ... this makes the guess that it is a vigenere or caesar code more likely. |

maybe another shift is needed?
maybe "contact destination" is all we are supposed to find? |
