Exactly! I'm working on the theory that all those movies we've been suggesting, and even Shakespeare himself, stole his storylines from lonelygirl15! I haven't quite worked out the time travel component of that theory, but I'm working on it!

OK, well, here it is. At the ceremony, it's revealed that the religion that Bree is involved in is actually run by a group of aliens who inhabit this planet in an effort to share their truth with other species. Bree has been chosen (and it's a "great honor") to use their technology to go back in time and help mankind from previous centuries. Along the way, she meets William Shakespere, et al, inspiring him in many of his plays. Romeo and Juliet is actually based on her telling him about her and Daniel and her dad. She then travels back to America and helps start the American Revolution, then travels forward in time, encourages Lincoln to free the slaves, and gives FDR the basic framework of the Great Society. And that was all before lunch. Our gal Bree -- you gotta hand it to her!

Wow. *floored*

Is there anything Bree CANT do? I mean, other than give Nora a raise? Very Happy

(bad pun time 'cause I know that BK LOVES 'em) So it wasn't the Boston Tea Party....it was the Boston BREE Party! Laughing

The plot of this whole video series is a "reality-style" version of the movie "My sister Kate", starring Juliann Stiles. In that movie, it's about a young girl who tries to bust out and have fun, but her overprotective father and strange older sister (who she calls a "beast" at one point - sound familiar??) prevent her from having a normal 13 year old teenage girl's life of partying and dating.

Bree is like that girl. Daniel Beast is kind of like a mixture of the Juliann Stiles character and the Australian boyfriend she has in the movie.

I think the line that sums it up is what Kate's father says to her and the younger sister. (Her father, incidentally, is played by the same guy who was the Dean of the college where Eddie Murphy's character was a teacher in "The Klumps" movie, very famous actor). Anyway, the father says to them at one point "I don't want you behaving like those damn Dawson's River kids!!!"

So you see the parallels are obvious. It's CLEARLY based on "Kiss me Kate".

One other note of interest, the Juliann Stiles movie is based on a Shakespeare play, it is kind of a COPY of it, an o-maj, and this series is like a o-maj to the Juliann Stiles movie. Also, the movie has classic literature as a theme, and the youtube series of Bree incorporates classic painting, as seen in the Dennis Hopper painting above her bed.

VERY interesting stuff, The Creators should be applauded for this masterpiece.

Did that movie have references to Aleister Crowley in it too?

Yes, of course. And, I think it's pretty obvious that she also went back to 8th century France and showed them how to make this delicious cheese, which they, of course, named after her (and the province in which it was made, as well). (The French, of course, got the spelling of her name wrong.)

So, yes, she's had quite an impact on history. And these are only the ones that we know about!

I LOVE Brie. Or Bree, rather. Very Happy

In the French Revolution, it's been a common misconception that Marie Antoinette famously said, "Let them eat cake!", of her starving subjects. However, due to extensive studies in the realm of French Food (ie--eating), I have now determined that it was, in fact, Bree who coined the phrase, "Let them eat cake!". Laughing

Ok, you know how people will say, "oh, I'm crying with laughter?" Honestly, I am. Laughing Laughing When you bring on the funny at early times of the morning (yes I got up early in expectation of Cassie Wink ), this is what you can expect to happen! Very Happy

"666 Things I Hate About Jews"....produced by Mel Gibson, sugar ****! Laughing

Who's joking? What, you don't believe Bree went back to 8th century France? You never heard of Brie cheese? What planet are you from?
