Clara found a fourth note which Maddison never received. It's being discussed in chat and may lead to a drop.

Can someone who's better informed fill in the details. Very Happy

In chat, Clara mentioned that she dropped a vial of rice, and didnt tell us right away because she thought we might get mad.
When it was realized that there was not supposed to be a vial of rice in the briefcase, we had Clara go back to Maddy's apartment and look at the notes in the briefcase. After going through all the ones that we already knew of, Clara found a new note:

The vial of rice broke and Clara counted 15 grains of rice.

With the pigeon brigade on the task, it was quickly solved by use of a rotation cipher, rotating all of the letters 11 times (15 grains of rice meant that the letters were already rotated 15 times, leaving 11 times until they were put back to the original message!)

The message found was:

Songville, America - Chocolate restaurant never sleeps - Blood tar bureau - 212626 - Hurry!

Songville, America is Nashville.

Thanks to Marla who used to live in Nashville, we have a possible location. Cafe Coco is a chocolate cafe open 24 hours and allows smoking! (Blood tar may be cigarettes.) Also the number of the shop is 321-2626 (2626 spells out coco)

GregGallows is now going to cafe coco in order to retrieve the drop. Marla is the operator. We may have a new drop in a few hours!

There are still cigarette machines all over Missouri, wouldn't be surprised if they were in Nashville too.

You might need to be 21+ to get into the bar anyway, in which case it'd be a moot point.
