yeah, I'd been making a comment the other day about how the LG15creators had made CiW then realized their mistakes and took a step back, etc.
Suddenly, here comes CiW222 and posts a little morse code at me out of nowhere. wierd.
It was senseless code really... I suppose...

anyway, so yeah, I don't hold much faith in this CiW222. Not to say I count it out, just it's "got some 'splainin' to do" _________________ How many threads would a moderator thread if a moderator could thread threads? |

I think they just mistyped EERIE into their morse code converter. Typos can occur even in morse code! _________________ [04:03] <lyriclyinclined> with the exception of a bad apple pucker incident |

I think a lot of it is that if something looks simple and easily done, it isn't taken seriously.
Too much pre-existing stuff recycled is simple.
Poor original content is simple.
Good ORIGINAL conent takes time (hence the CiW woes), plus time investment usually shows in the finished work, all along the spectrum of talent!
Even Etchings--that first post with the portly Brit was laughable (and has tainted the series forever in my mind). But later installments have had puzzles that at least some people care about.
The first OpAphid post with the text had a good tone. But again, not hard to do with a little free time.
The second OpAphid video (with the ghost chick footage) looks suprisingly professional--so much so that I've shown it to friends to make sure it isn't from some Japanese Horror movie or someting... I almost want to see the next installment just to confirm it's an original work! Because that sort of effort consistently would keep my interest (that and understanding the plot).
CiW222 looks like they took 2-3 original shots and realized that to make them look credible it'd have to be b&w, so they spliced it into that other B&W arty footage.
That, and, after facing the Crisis of Infinite Cassies, aren't we sick of people pretending to be Cassie?
I wanna see a flood of Lucy fan fiction videos... perhaps showing her "naughty" side. Like, she could be a "naughty" helper. |

The LG15 fan fiction universe is expanding. We just need more good ones to enter the fray. |

yep. but unless someone owns it, NO ONE person is doing it officially, so in theory ANY ONE could be doing it.
i wonder if CiW would've caught on from the start if there wasn't the confusion surrounding it.
both CiW and LonesomeOctober gained popularity primarily because people (incorrectly) assumed they were official. in fact, it was because of the production value and quality product (and lack of denial LOL). if it was just good fan fiction from day 1, would it have caught on so big?
so if something else good comes along, who knows? so far, nothing is fooling any of us... heh. |

Looks like she wants to know if we're ready... _________________ "Death, in the strict sense, cannot be defined, for whatever predicate we, the living, attribute to it necessarily belongs to Life.
