Dear Ms Kelly,

Though I would enjoy registering in your curriculum, I have not the time to commit away from my other studies. I am not a home schooled child, so the stresses of everyday are much of a distraction for me. I would very much so enjoy a copy of your suggested reading, you seem to me like a lover of education, and I am a lover of learning. I do not want to disappoint you by joining your excellent faculty without being able to comply with the rules and expectations, but I would love to taste just a drip of the knowledge you have to offer.

Dear Ms. Kelly,
I am very grateful that you have provided me with the reading list, after all a girl doesn't need sleep after all. Perhaps I shall study from a distance, an individual learning plan if you will, where I can study at my own pace but under your direction.
I am also very grateful for your compliments, it means a fair amount to me, considering your own great intelligence and splendor.
