I just had a brainstorm. Forgive me if this has been brought up somewhere in the depths of LG postings that I just haven't found yet... but what if...

Daniel = Denial

This could be in the sense that Daniel denies the validity of Bree's beliefs, in the sense that he denies the danger that he is in, or perhaps another Biblical reference of some sort?
Just a thought and I didn't see an existing topic where it would fit.
