the last one says, "1/4 1/10 1/20"

Wasn't there that equation in one of the descriptions of the videos? At any rate, it equals 0.40.

This cracks me up. Baudelaire is the last name of the kids in the Lemony Snicket books "A Series of Unfortunate Events", also the movie of the same name. I wonder why they're using that last name.

ok i think this is the Baudelaire referred to

http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/baudelai.htm

also for the rambam abenezra i couldnt make out much but heres a link of the google results:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Rambam.+Abenezra.&btnG=Google+Search

That's exactly it, Katz31. There's a couple with one more symbol on them. Look at pics no. 1 and 4. There's this strange symbol just left of the fractions.

Also, Pic No. 2 seems to be a 1.

The symbol seems to be the one here:

http://www.greatscott.com/hiero/hiero_bilit.html

It's pronounced "ges."

Edit: oops, didn't see that you already got it! lol

I know that Rambam (true name Maimonides) was the head of the Egyptian Jewish Community, ABENEZRA (IBN Ezra), or, to give him his full name, ABRAHAM BEN MEIR IBN Ezra (1092 or 1093-1167), one of the most distinguished Jewish men of letters and writers of the Middle Ages. He also wandered in Egypt for some time in his life...I can't figure out where Baudelaire fits into Egypt in anyway yet...
