no more secret club, i said my peace to the participants, hopefully they will follow it.

ill no longer worry about anything but what is the task at hand. i love the puzzles but without my peers help they become more dificult with the distractions.

game on!

Opahid reply:

There is great meaning to uncover, some of which has not been found at this time.

However, with another important test close at hand, it might be best to figure out what is being asked of you.

------------------------------------------------------

ME: i really dont have a question at this time, we have the quotes, but no primer, unless we dissect everything from day one. which is alot.

OPAHID: Do not consider them quotes. Take the message as the message without reading into anything else.

ill update this with pertinent stuff real quick.

So we still haven't found the instructions in the message, which are obviously pertinent and we should stop straying from the message. And it's supposed to be literal... So... What is it?

BTW :

Each success only buys an admission ticket to a more difficult problem. [Henry Kissinger]

It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.
[Voltaire]

Mistakes are the portals to discovery.
[James Joyce]

Alas, never interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake.
[Napoleon]

It is possible to fail in many ways, while to succeed is possible only in one way.
[Aristotle]

Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.
[Arnold H. Glasgow]

A story is told as much by silence as by speech.
[Susan Griffin]

Except in this case.

OK, this is what I've gotten by asking Aphid directly:

What situation could that be?

These are replies I've gotten from her :

Those willing to protect in actions, rather than words, will always be deemed worthy.

Interesting comparison.

Not an entirely accurate one, but it certainly would not hurt for one to fear such actions from us.

After all, we tend to overestimate with our fears. Only those who act in arrogance underestimate the consequences of their actions.

Aren't the two quite similar? Analysis is what tells you whether something is a danger or a threat.

Right now you're supposed to be deciphering an instruction to deal with potentially one or both.

Woah, a war. That's a completely different way of seeing things.

ok heres some ideas on what each line could mean.. feel free to criticize, elaborate or discuss, after all mistakes ARE the portals to discovery...

Each success only buys an admission ticket to a more difficult problem.
<each puzzle will get harder

It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.
<if we solve them(puzzles), we could be put in a dangerous position.
still i wonder who the "established authorities" are

Mistakes are the portals to discovery.
<i think this is the most obvious.. we post our thoughts so, as they did in
the roman forums, we can compare notes and see where our
thoughts lead us

Alas, never interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake.
<this one i am a little unsurer of. could this help us define the sides
or choices before us?

It is possible to fail in many ways, while to succeed is possible only in one way.
<also this one is obvious to me, take it literally to mean there is only
one solution

Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.
<when we are in fact, tested we will have to make our choice

A story is told as much by silence as by speech.
<our correct choice may be to keep something secret, or keep some type of information a secret from our "enemy"

let me know what you think about this, OpAphid says we are to take this all literally, so we need to find the message she is trying to communicate here

what is being asked of us? i know other threads have addressed this, but aphid is still asking if we know.

the voicemail if you listen to it in context without thinking of them as quotations, says something to us.

of decisions, right and wrong. of the people who are making decisions, those who make mistakes and who make discoveries, of choices we will have to make when the time presents itself.

it is us who has to decide, and the path is not an easy one. some will be enlightened and discover the path, and others will be wrong and be lost in the process.

there is a right place and time, and it is near, and we must be prepared to make a desicion.

what will you decide.

interpret the message, what does it tell you, thats what it tells me

Most seem to do with "right" or "wrong". So who's made mistakes? Who's been wrong? Daniel? Cassie? Us?

On the other side, who's been right? Bree? She did make the right decision, that was ophids first video. Maybe the religion is right?

Can you tell I'm confused? And why is almost everyone sentence of mine a question?

EDIT: That was my first post, didn't even know I hadnt posted. Or had I? O_o

I had an idea that we the people, are the established authority. That the more we are right than we thought we were the more dangerous it gets. IDK, throwing it out there.

the thing is, is how far are you willing to go to choose. is it a choice of right or wrong, black or white, square or circle, or is it as simple as joining the side of the winner or the loser.
