I'm really at a loss... I'm just not sure what kind of message I'm supposed to be looking for...
Y'all who have figured it out already must be really annoyed by these questions, but I plead with you for another hint or at least answer this:
Is the "solution" to the VM supposed to lead us to another specific clue or is it some sort of guideline on how to proceed generally from this point?

neither really. at least i don't think so. anyone can correct me if they think i'm wrong. its late and i very well could be. |

The answer is yes. But if you have to think about it that deeply, you're thinking WAY too deep. This is simple. SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE. I can' not stress how overly obvious this is. So much so that, anyone who thinks about it beyond the level of a child, is thinking too deep.

If you're not on a mac, go to the page that you want to capture, do Ctrl+Print Screen, which basically copies all that you can see on the screen.
Then open Paint (it's just easiest) and Paste (Ctrl+V).
Then you can fix it so that it only shows the message by cutting and deleting...
