I believe you wrote it. (Because when I first read it I loved it so much that I googled it--guessing it was some obscure song lyric).

But now I know the truth. Wink

Some people go through life trying to find out what the world holds for them only to find out too late that it's what they bring to the world that really counts.
~ Anne of Green Gables

We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams.
~ Author Unknown

I have posted both of these quotes at my studio. They are what I base my life and my work around.

Oh, and I always tell my students that

"There is no graduation fairy" Mr. Garrett, my high school pricipal.

He told us that to remind us to work hard, cuz graduating wasn't going to magically happen, we had to work for it.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," and "What you give out, you get back."

These aren't so much my favorite quotes as the ones that I learned (from my mom) before I even got to kindergarten. They've stayed with me since.

As for my favorite entertaining quotes, um, pretty much "When Harry Met Sally" in its entirety. :: ducking from tomatoes ::

What is this, Pansy Day?

Ahem.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. "Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here."

Favorite movie quote (actually several from this movie. I lurve this movie!)

"Now, that is a big trunk. It holds a tuba, a suitcase, a dead dog, and a garment bag almost perfectly."
"That's just what they used to say in the ads."

Anyone know? Anyone? Bueller?

Okay, a few more from the same one:

Grady: [Narrating] She was a junkie for the printed word. Lucky for me, I manufactured her drug of choice.

Grady: She's a transvestite.
Crabtree: You're stoned.
Grady: She's still a transvestite

Grady: Well, he did say a few things that made me believe it WAS his car.
Crabtree: Like what?
Grady: "That's my car, motherf***er."
