Nilla, Sophia, myself and others (whom I'd give credit to if I could remember who you all were) have been working on analyzing the text of Tachyon's videos. We separated the phrases using I and those using i into two separate dialogues, and linked the phrases together. What we discovered is pretty interesting, but some work still needs to be done, because the dialogues don't make complete sense as they are now. That's where you all come in!

We're pretty sure that the i's are Tach in her Order persona, while the I's are Tach's trueself. I'll be posting the I transcripts first, then the i transcripts. I think it's the I transcript we need to concentrate on.

Note: the italicized bits are the ones that didn't seem to fit into either category, just based on proximity to I/i's.

I posted this Sunday night in the video thread. It's a phrase-only version of the lower case "i"'s with my initial comment:

i think it might be time
i might have too much (order)
i am just waiting
i wait
i should be doing
i can't help
i've just been sitting still

i had
i've just been dealing
i will only be here another day
i will leave
i cannot carry much

If Tachyon were a "plant" in OpAphid's group, this would sound like a message to an outside group that she had as much info as she could get and needed to be extracted....

A few more observations:
1. I believe Tachyon's three videos are meant to have been posted at three different times, and constitute three separate messages to her outside group.

2. I have noticed (using the phrase only method above for the other vids, as well as from others' comments/chat) numbers being mentioned in relation to the videos. In fact, some who have received phone calls seem particularly interested in numbers, as does OpAphid.

It seems to me there are numbers to be extracted from Tachyon's videos. A phone number? co-ordinates?

One last thought: all of these videos are made with care and deliberation. One Tachyon signs off with XOXOX, the others XOXO. Perhaps a clue?

The only clue we have as a time stamp is when she says,
I hope the Dodgers play the Angels next month.
So, this video was recorded in September.

BTW, the Dodgers were eliminated by the Mets!

Here's a theory I just posited in the chat room, and since it didn't get shot down there, I'll put it here.

I've been looking at the I statements in this third video. In particular, Tach's reference to the calling card caught my eye. We've all be focusing on the calling card in it's modern definition--a piece of plastic you buy that has phone minutes on it. But "calling card" can have another meaning: it can be a sign by which people know you for yourself. In the Victorian Era, wealthy people who went visiting would leave their calling cards with servants so that the masters of the house could find out who was at the door without having to come down themselves. Sometimes, a calling card can get you into places that you couldn't otherwise get into. It doesn't have to be a physical object, though; it could also be a signal or a sign.

Given that, let's look back at what Tach says about her calling card:

Okay. I studied the transcripts A LOT today.

When I was in college, I was a drama major.

::waits for the snickering and "do you want fries with that?" jokes to subscide::

So, in theater, if you have a biiig budget, you usually hire a dramaturgist.

They study the script, the actual words of dialouge, and look for hidden meaning, things that maybe the director didn't see. They research the plot and all it entails. I got an A in this class, so let's see if it got me anywhere, Eh?

So, in case you don't know my theory thus far, here's a synposis:

OpAphid has a nasty little mole on her hands. We can all agree on that, I think. Well, most of us.

Op's mole is very unframiliar with the ways of the Order. What she sees upsets her and frightens her. Eventually, she begins to blow her cover when the stress becomes too much.

The whole time Tach was spying on the order, she was sending YouTube videos out to her team (who I will be referring to as 'the other side').

These videos are laced with secret messages and codes ... the most common example being capital I = The real person, and lowercase i = her alter ego (her ruse, if you will), the member of the order.

Soon after infiltrating the Order, they started to suspect her. But rather than expose her, they let her stay in hopes that she would lead them to 'the other side'.

'The other side' caught onto the fact that either thier agent was loosing her marbles or that The Order was onto her and cut all associations with her. Essentialy, they left her to fend for herself.

Scared of The Order and fearful that 'The Other Side' has abandoned her, Tach sends out one last YT message before she runs away. And now, BOTH sides are looking for the double-agent.

.... Yeah, I think that sums it up. Maybe I watch too much Alias, but that's my theory.

But this isn't just speculation. I show my work, too. Smile

Tach never refers to "The Order" directly. It seems to be that when she speaks of The Order to her contact on 'The Other Side', she speaks about order (ie - the opposite of chaos) in her life. Generally, Tach feels there's way too much Order in her life.

I take this to be double speak ... she is using the lowercase i, which I assume to mean "Julie" is just way too entrenched in The Order. Tach can't handle how absorbing her mission has become.

As Tach brings up in other videos, she expected her mission to have been long over by now. It appears that since the 10-12-06 ceremony was a fake, 'the other side' has kept Tach there indefinetly. It is unclear to me (and apparently, to Tach) what event would have had to take place for Tach to be allowed to return home.

In this way, 'the other side' bears an uncanny resemblance to Cassie, or rather, CiW .... The other side expected something BIG to happen on 10-12-06, something so big that it would not require Tach to keep her post much past Mid-October. When something big did NOT happen ... 'the other side' almost seemed to dissapear.

To me, this reinforces the idea that 'The Other Side' has cut off all communication, that the 'The Order' has demoted her to mundane tasks. I doubt she gets a lot of time for conversation.

Obviously, she can't come right out and say "So, are you guys disavowing all knowledge of my existence?" It might give her up even faster AND it might irk 'The Other Side' if she questions thier actions. So, instead, she makes up an excuse for them ... They must be realllly busy. Yeah, that's it.

She knows that what she's asking is NOT going to be cool with them. She is seriously putting the mission in jeopardy by asking to come home. But she's desperate. I think the reason she says if "Julie" had any other way to get home instead of "I" is because that ... well, how is she going to explain that one to The Order without breaking her cover? Julie has no way to get home ... ie I have no good excuse for Julie to be leaving right now.

As for the rest of the transcript ... I have thoughts, but nothing too concrete. The courier stuff, the calling card stuff .... No clue.

But at least I showed my work, right? ::Grin::
