Only one person finds the drop but they tell everyone else what it is is! In this case we had to watch tons of people going around pissed off b/c they didn't know what it was and there were people who did know and couldn't tell them. I understand why secrecy would effect it but entire secrecy I think was probably overkill in this case. IE- If you told people about the first call and not the second I think it would have been just as well. |

I just wish more people were sharing details of theirs. I dont mind that I didnt get a call. I do think it was wack that it took two days to find it all out though. Especially since the long phone calls arent saying much to explain why they were on the phone so damn long! 
But with drops we never know fully. I mean we still havent seen a video of the last Cassie drop. And in any one person case it isnt like we know nothing got tampered with. I feel better knowing a dozen people got to experience it rather than one. If there was something like this but with a much shorter window, I think it could be done really well.
Lemme say for a second though that I applaud anyone who didnt even say anything about getting a phone call. I think the real prob was people saying "I've got a secret but can't share it." If we hadn't known something was up, it woulda just seemed like a little downtime at worst.
I also think that even though we complain about this, ya gotta give it up to opaphid for trying something different.
I mean, is everyone who got a call even happy or impressed by it? How does it rate on the alternate reality game scale of experiences? |
