Besides the weird 11 people in a group of ten issue (see ipod opera debacle for details) I noticed that tachyon is a 9 month old account.

How easily can you spoof details on youtube? If it's doable then that's that but if it's not then either the PMs are damn lucky or the game is canon (which I suspect for other reasons as well).

If it could be hacked that way, I suspect someone else would have done it already. It's really odd that the Tachyon account is so old. That warpylol posted that video 3 months ago (and the UK tie-in).

What other oddness is there around this?

Or, the PMs could just be using an account(s) they already had.

They might have just asked the person that had the Tachyon account if they could use it.

Tiger, once you asked me about this in IRC, it got me thinking.

I always assumed that the OP-PM chose Tachyon because it was a tag in an LG15 video ("What's a Date?")

.... But that video was posted September 15th, 2006.

Long after Tachyon made the profile.

What are the odds that LG15 would put that tag in there just randomly?

In my opinion, the story of Op and Bree are slowly converging. I think it might not be so far off to suggest that Op MIGHT be cannon. I think that its also fairly safe to say that Tachyon is "Op Cannon," and a lot of this was planned from the start. Just a thought.

thats what i've been thinking over the past two weeks.

The story lines are too similar not to be. Everyone keeps arguing me about this, but if you look, they are very similar.

But the theory that Op is canon is undercut, IMO, but the email the LG admins sent out yesterday. Op is so sharp and funny, and that email was so lame... "Tell your friends about us! We're cool!" I can't imagine that email could come from a group Op would associate with.

Even if they are by different creators they do seem to be working together. Cassie sprung from LG and Cassie's parting (still unsolved?) message was "right there above you" which does echo Tachyon's clue "any way but down." There was also Frank's dying rant about "which side are you on boys? which side are you on?" right before Op brought up the issue of "sides."

After gemma's new video, i really think its hard to debate this.
To me it's getting clearer and clearer the more Gemma posts.
