So I have thought of writing this for a long time but felt like keeping my pro wrestling addiction a secret. However I think the philosophy behind the business of pro wrestling is important to something like lonelygirl. Bare with me here...

So the way a company like the WWE works is that they have their weekly TV shows and then each month have a PPV. To a lot of people it seems simple to come up with wrestling TV you just send people out to fight. However there are really stories involved and you have to build a feud over time.

What I'm getting at is that the weekly TV stuff is free to watch but the PPVs you have to pay for so you have to come up with a way to get people to show up each week to the arenas, watch each week on TV and then pay one Sunday a month to watch the same product they can get free for two hours the following night.

Why am I talking about all this, Because LG needs to learn about this structure. You NEED small payoffs as you build to the large payoff. Why would people watch each week if nothing ever happens until the PPV. More importantly why would people shell out money to go to the weekly shows live if nothing happens till the PPV. At the same time why would people pay 30 bucks to watch a PPV if nothing has been built to and everything cool happened for free already.

LG15's biggest flaw so far has been the lack of payoffs. we have not been given enough little wows before the end this thing with a big wow.

I think they really need to start trying harder and come up with some bigger plot points. I hope this is not the case but it kind of feels like they have the grand vision but did not pack it with enough excitement to keep our interest over the amount of time they are trying to stretch it out.

I agree with all of this. When is something going to actually happen? It seems like they are trying to make the hotel room into "Bree's bedroom" and go back to what they were doing in the beginning (the cutesy thing). Hello, Creators, it's too late to go back now.

When are Bree and Daniel going to run out of money? And since money is a concern, why aren't they staying in a $25 a night flea-bag motel? Why aren't they moving around? Why is Bree not worried about her parents? The only way these questions can be answered, to me, is if Bree is setting Daniel up, and waiting for some kind of "signal" from the cult.

Whatever it is, Creators, will you please quit jerking our chains? I will donate next month, promise.
