Was that a hint to how Daniel just can't see that someone's following them?
And Bree's saying that she's spying, in some way - -
could she be a watcher, or a part of it all?

I think it mean that Dan's pretty sure that they're safe.
he's not ever AWARE of this 'game' taking place.

Later on Bree says that she's gonna go play with P Monkey. another clue about him being bugged?

One thing that I just thought of, If gemma is in the UK as she is meant to be then she wouldn't have seen the daniel video until about the same time as I did at the earliest (8am). She must have hurried to the library found exactly what she was looking for almost imediately, come home and made the vlog, is it really feasable? I mean how many books can it really be mentioned in?

It is surely must more likely that she already knew what was going on and just pretended to have researched it.

I have been trying to research this symbol and I am struggling. All I have found so far is reference to an eye on a hand which says

I think the creators are trying to obscure the line between reality and fiction inorder to keep intrest in the storyline. You know come to think of it Gemma was only put on the main page once Bree acknowledged her in a Vlog so if Nikki is Canon Bree will have to eventually acknowledge her in a Vlog or she is just another fan, who the creators saw a good idea and ran with it. Just like the whole T-Shirt idea, why arn't they creating it them selves, becuase it is all interactive and it makes it easier to give the people (us) what we want.
