I've found some interesting tidbits about Watchers that may or may not have anything to do with the plot, but I thought I'd make a place to put the info.
Quote: | There were, apparently two factions of Watchers - those who believed that their great knowledge was not to be shared with the lesser mortals who shared the world with them, and those who believed that it should be shared. Due to the fact that their intellect and knowledge came from the longevity of their culture, it far outweighed that of those primitive peoples they found in their journeys across the earth. They would have seemed 'magical' and very powerful in the matters and deeds which they could accomplish. from Andrew Collins' book
'FROM THE ASHES
OF ANGELS'
|
Quote: | The Book of Enoch names these angels Watchers, or in Hebrew Zophim (S6822 (BDB); Cf. Num 23:14) We are told quite explicitly what the Watchers got up to. It is perhaps becoming clear now why mankind had become so wicked (Gen 6:5); he had become corrupted by the Watchers. 1 Enoch tells us that they did not only have sex with men (and animals as well...God wants to destroy the animals too -- Gen 6:7), but they taught occult and wicked practices to mankind. Not only this but there was now considerable risk that the Messiah's bloodline could become genetically corrupt from intermarriage with Nephilim. It appears that only Noah's family remained physically, soulically and spiritually clean (Gen 6:8-9). |
Quote: | During the fabled "First Time, Zep Tepi, when the gods ruled in their country: they said it was a golden age during which the waters of the abyss receded, the primordial darkness was banished, and humanity, emerging into the light, was offered the gifts of civilization. They spoke also of intermediaries between gods and men - the Urshu, a category of lesser divinities whose title meant 'the Watchers'. And they preserved particularly vivid recollections of the gods themselves, puissant and beautiful beings called the Neteru who lived on earth with humankind and exercised their sovereignty from Heliopolis and other sanctuaries up and down the Nile. Some of these Neteru were male and some female but all possessed a range of supernatural powers which included the ability to appear, at will, as men or women, or as animals, birds, reptiles, trees or plants. Paradoxically, their words and deeds seem to have reflected human passions and preoccupations. Likewise, although they were portrayed as stronger and more intelligent than humans, it was believed that they could grow sick - or even die, or be killed - under certain circumstance."
- Graham Hancock, Fingerprints of the Gods

Something that ties Egypt in with Watchers. Interestingly, the Watchers have the ability to appear as animals. Maybe it's not Daniel that is bad. Maybe it's OWEN!
Quote: | "Other Watchers stand accused of revealing to mortal kind the knowledge of more scientific arts, such as the knowledge of the clouds, or meteorology; the 'signs of the earth', presumably geodesy and geography; as well as astronomy and the 'signs', or passage, of the celestial bodies, such as the sun and moon. Far more disturbing is Kisdeja, who is said to have shown 'the children of men all the wicked smitings of spirits and demons, and the smitings of the embryo in the womb, that it may pass away'. In other words, he taught women how to abort their babies."
- Andrew Collins, From the Ashes of Angels - The Forbidden Legacy of a Fallen Race (1996) p. 26 |
Hmmmm, is this where Bree learned about Latitude and Longitude and about the stars?
Or perhaps we can get ALL our answers right here!!!!

From the Book of Enoch:
Quote: | And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn 7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samiazaz, their leader, Arakiba, Rameel, Kokabel, Tamiel, Ramiel, Danjal, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, 8 Azzael, Armaros, Batarel, Hananel, Zakkiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.

| Great research, silver, and I will check out the website. However, let's not lose sight of the fact that Owen is a stuffed animal, and not alive or breathing...hehehehe. Unless, of course, he is bugged. _________________ Awakening from the slumber. |

hehehe... found this on the Watcher Magazine website:
The Illuminati plan is for ten world regions or "kingdoms". This plan would fulfill prophecy in Daniel 2:31-45 and 7:19-28 and Revelation 13 and Revelation 17:12-14. The ten kingdoms planned by the Illuminati are:
North America
Europe
Japan
Australia
Russia
South America
North Africa and the Middle East, including Israel
Central and South Africa
India and Malaysia
China
Welcome to the New World Order. Is that a trumpet I hear? _________________ It's STILL all connected... |

Welcome to the New World Order. Is that a trumpet I hear? | If this is the case, then the Illuminati must be looking ahead centuries and centuries from now, because getting Israel and the mideast together would be more than a colossal feat. In fact, I think it's impossible without forced interbreeding. _________________ Awakening from the slumber. |

Agreed, iqfrenzy.
Trainer, I become more convinced each day that your "Illuminati" theory is precisely accurate. |

Thanks JALG. I don't know if it is or not, but I'm having fun with it! Plus, I think if enough of us come to a single conclusion, the Creators will make it so. We ARE the Illuminati. _________________ It's STILL all connected... |

The thing I love about Trainer is that he sticks to his guns... I respect that! |
