blame whoever was behind that debacle we all got burned on, and not The Creators! 
at least this is them trying to throw us a bone that makes sense in LG15 and now allows for something to be done with the Cassie character.
what on earth could they have done with her as it stood post-CiW? from what we knew, Cassie was a corpse and in Second Life.
now at least we know she's probably alive, and just a bit of a bitch. |

Yes, but until this video came out, there was always some hope that CiW could come out of hiding and start the game back up again. This video pretty much crushed that hope, which is why I'm so ticked off about it...

yeahh, i realized after talking about it that i never really watched the videos in their entirety. they kind of creeped me out. all i knew was that she whispered. i still don't really feel like watching them.

they didn't know that at the time. they didn't have anything to do with CiW.
it probably explains why The Creators sough out OpAphid -- to make sure it would be a complete story and ARG so the LG15 fans wouldn't get burned again.
in a way, maybe this is them saying "whoever did CiW dropped the ball, and now we'd like OUR character Cassie back." |

They said that CiW wasn't the route they wanted to go once the Tate murders pictures were included. Can't say I blame them either. That was a horrible event that left a lot of people emotionally shattered. For the sake of those people's feelings, I wouldn't have wanted to exploit that in any way.

It's not like the Creators are stopping CiW's creator from coming back and doing something else with it. Again, at least this way we get CiW included as canon in a manner of speaking. For me that's satisfying enough. |

I sort of thought the same thing...its sort of an explanation for alot of things that Cassie did...like leaving everyone hanging...and some of the clues that went nowhere......
But I didn't follow ciw really (I watched the vids and the forums though) so I can't speak from the point of view of the really dedicated ciw fans........ |
