I just spotted a banner for Zango on the main page. Zango is as bad as spyware gets. I think I have also seen an ad for weather bug, but I never followed the link to find out.

Please remove these advertisers from your list. They trash peoples computers and can be very hard for people who do not know about computers to remove. It is known to install root kits that make it invisible to spyware detection software and back doors that not only open your computer up to them, but also to other hackers.

heres the thing about the ads
after dealing with ad thingies with my old web site...
you usually go through a company that rotates ads. SO you don't really have control over what is shown on your site.
plus i've never once seen those ads on the main page...

Here is a picture of my office. It is messy, I have been upgrading some of my computers, and moving lots of cables around.

The laptop on the left is a MacBook Pro. I am also running Fedora Core, FreeBSD as well as (Gasp) Windows XP 64 bit.

When you get the traffic that LG gets, you can be a bit more picky. Especially if it is for moral reasons.

The zango ad has some guy about to be ran over by a trolley. Then says, "To see more, click here", or something like that. If you click on the banner and the vid of the trolley, your anti virus alarms go off (If you have good up to date A/V).
