I'm sorry for your loss Bree.

Just remember he will never truely die as long as you keep his memory alive inside of you.

If you need anything--we all are here for you.

Bree, I feel your pain (only to a certain extent, though). My father died when I was only 1. I can't imagine how painful this must be for you, as you knew your dad, and have so many memories.

Just remember, that he will always be with you in spirit. He'll be helping through to the end of this whole ordeal.

It's always better to talk to someone after a loved one has died. I wasn't able to talk when my father died, hell I was able to comprehend that he died, but I have had MANY other loved ones die in my life. I know from personal experience, that it really helps to talk about it. Talk about him. Look back on the all the fun times you've had with him.

People say that once someone dies, they are gone forever. I'm sure we can prove science wrong, here, Bree. He'll never truly be gone from you.

Cup o' noodles - I'm sorry you lost your dad too. Thank you for sharing that with me...it means a lot at a time like this. I know I haven't talked a lot about my parents since I left home...I guess that's the non-emotional part of me (which I learned from my dad). I'm so used to keeping things bottled up because my life has always been so secretive...not being able to tell people what I believe or what my religion is. I guess that spread to my emotional side as well. Now I know that I lived in a home built on one big secret...or lie. *sigh* I do miss my dad and can't believe he's gone... as for my mom, well I don't have anything to say about her right now.

I'm so happy talking about your feelings helped you. But right now talking to these boys is definitely not going to help.
