Everyone has been talking about the video Gemma IV, and how Cassie was mentioned in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzCtbnY-EgQ At the end it says "I was here."
Guess what? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IcYUifgEfw In this video by Cassieiswatching, she says "I was here." in the beginning.
Just thought I would point this out for all you people working hard on this, just in case it holds any significance. |

Does it? I don't see/hear that...maybe I missed it. I haven't read the OpAphid interpretations of this video too much.

We all (mostly) love cassieiswatching... unfortuantely, she's just fan-created fiction, and she went away long ago...

I listened to both videos and you are correct.
But if you listen closely, it's debatable whether the same voice whispers, "I was here." |

Even if it is the same voice, it could have just been taken from the CiW video.

I noticed that too, and I DO think it means something, but I think it's going to be awhile before we find out. I don't know if it's worth spending a lot of time on solving right now - I don't think we have enough information yet, but it's worth paying attention to. I'm filing it in my archive of little details that will probably make sense some day - then I'll say "duh" why didn't I figure that out sooner?

It still has tenuous ties to the series though--more so than all the other fanfictions. Especially to the ARG.
OpAphid is canon. But OpAphid made its start replying to and gamejacking CiW. Unless it's totally disavowing its earliest videos, then some form of CiW exists in the OpA universe... which has been absorbed into the Breeniverse.
In the Breeniverse, CiW may not be a spector like she presented herself--but her videos apparently still exist, abeit as that of a prankster teenage girl. |

What I don't understand, is why would OP put so much energy into creating such elaborate video's if they were only to discipline a prankster teenager?
Also, a possible recent reference to Cassie has been discovered in the memorial video for Bree's Dad.

Oppy wanted to be the ARG, I think and used the CiW phenomenon as a catalyst. She's not just out to discipline a prankster teen...if you watch the Op/Tach vids you'll see.

Of course they would  but the shot didn't have to be framed that way. It didn't even have to be included. It may be coincidence, or it may not, but with all the other Cassie inuendos popping up, I'm filing it for later reference.
