Surely it's easier to cast when the person's audition is fresh in your mind? I'd have to call...lol.

Very good point, I mean how can he ever possibly remember the nuances of your monologues this far from the original audition? Sure he took notes, but I doubt they are sufficient!

We didnt monologue, we cold read from the script but still I agree. How can he posssibly remember just how fabulous I was?

Ouch, a cold read only? That is never easy, and it doesn't show your abilities as well as a monologue. I personally think doing monologues for the first audition, then cold reads for the callbacks is how it should be done. But that is just me ^^

I've never had to do a monologue for an audition. Just several various reads with or without others.

I like saying "Je te souhaite merde" it is the french version of break a leg....

And Kasdeja, I usually do monologues, and I usually write them!

Yes, the phrase was originally "I hope you step in Dogsh*t" but it has been trimmed. I didn't say that it said that. I said it was the French equivalent, which it is. That is what they say. And would you rather break your leg or step in dog doodoo?
