Given the information Daniel gives us about Jonas in the latest video, and his comparison to the movie...is it possible that who we see as Jonas is just an act? Could it be that Jonas is an undercover operative and possibly connected to Tachyon more than we could ever tell?
Perhaps the reason Jonas wanted Bree and Daniel to come visit him so much, why he was so convienent, and why the Creators specifically wanted us to trust him----is because he is working with Tachyon and had specific orders to take Bree and Daniel in to protect them.
He could be undercover. And given all the information that Daniel corresponds with tachyon, or at least has recieved messages from her, could it be that he also decided to trust Jonas because he knows his true identity?

If that were the case he would've saved Bree's dad.
Tachyon wouldn't hesitate. Anyone trained in any covert ops division has to get past that if they want to advance. |

Maybe Bree's 'dad' was meant to die..he sacrificed himself for bree?

I'm just saying. If Jonas is a secret agent, Bree should have super powers.
That's how beyond believable it seems. |

I'm not sure. I tend to agree with some of what you're suggesting, but I'm also getting the sense that they're pushing the sensitive guy role with Jonas more and more, and it makes him seem more of a wannabe undercover operative than an actual operative.
It appears to me that Jonas wants friends and to be apart of something to the point of trying too hard. I've been getting the sense that alot of the time Bree and Daniel are on the same page and that they work in tandem by playing a little of game of coded vblogs. It seems like Jonas recognised that and wants in on the game. He seems to over emphasis clues more than B&D. In turn B&D are sometimes giving Jonas this little amused shake-of-the-head look or a yeah-okay-you-can-play-but-tone-it-down look.
(shrugs) As you suggest though it could just be an act on Jonas's part, and he might be more in-the-know than he lets on. For example, bringing Tachy into the mix...
I really believe the "Death of the Nile" magazine Jonas gave Bree should be revisted. It was causually mentioned in the video forum by someone else, but wasn't discussed at all. Agatha Christie wrote a book titled "Death of the Nile" and a movie was also made. It's about a tricky whodunit shooting that takes place in a boat on the Nile, and the detective on the case was Hercule Poirot. I think "Poirot" is who Daniel was refering to when he said, "He's (Jonas) really into talking about feelings. Don't be fooled by the Poirot thing."

In "Death on the Nile," someone made a remark about an eccentric (it might've been about Poirot really not sure)'tilting at windows,'which could mean something to the ARG/Tachy fans seeing how Tachy said someone accused her of such.
Along with your basic Egyptian referances, that magazine Jonas gave Bree is loaded with symbolism, and it makes Jonas awfully suspect. Foreshadowing and character personality referance, okay, but it also makes it look like he knew something of what was coming. I dunno, I'm on the fence and I think I confused myself, so I'm going now.
But, before I go, a lil Factoid: I think Anchor Bay Entertainment/studios owns the movie rights to the DotN movie. Anchor Bay ...Anchor Cove anybody? lol nm, I know I'm reaching now. toodles
