What did the kiss mean to Bree?
Bree was lying. It meant a lot to her. Afterall, she said she was acting on impulse. She's just trying to protect Daniel.

She just wants to keep things simple and be friends. Nothing more, nothing less. She just needed to be close to someone then.

In the recent video, Bree basically says that the kiss didn't mean much of anything to her and that it was a mistake. But, she also mentions how she couldn't understand why anyone would want to be close to her, because her dad died by trying to do just that.

Is Bree lying, again, just to protect Daniel?

or

Was Bree actually being honest?

I think she did...I dunno if it meant anything of if she just used Daniel...AGAIN...for whatever emotional whim she had at the moment. She tends to be very self centered the more we know her...she may not be in love with Daniel but she sure likes stringing him along for her own needs, eh?

I think there needs to be another choice, such as "Bree should have kept her lips to herself. She's a big meany head! Daniel should dump her sorry butt in the woods so the Order can get her."

Just a thought.

Yeah...but when I was 16 if I was in HER situation...I'd definitely treat my only best friend and only real friend...shoot, only person in the world better than she has.

How in the world have her actions protected anyone, including Daniel?

Yeah, I agree. She's being a total bitch....which, usually, I like but not in this situation.

Well, it's kind of dumb, but I've seen this sort of thing in one form or another in loads of books and movies... she sees The Order killing the people she gets close to, so she wants The Order to think she is not close to Daniel to protect him.

I hope that's not the case. I hope she's just suffering withdrawal from her whaddyacallem shots.
